The Bahá'ís of Champaign-Urbana

12th Day of Ridvan

11:30am, main room

Location

Bahá'í Center
807 E Geen St.
Urbana, IL

Prepare your potluck selection from such foods as hard-boiled eggs, crusty bread (accompanied by butter and jam!), cold fish (sardines are a favorite),
tomatoes (perhaps marinated with olives and red onions, or enlivened with cucumbers), oranges, cheese, yogurt, pita bread, humus, etc.
When plates are full and people seated at the tables--positioned handily to both eat and enjoy the program--we will meet the family and ardent followers accompanying Baháʼu'lláh into further exile, then depart from the Riḍván Garden, traveling overland through Iraq and Türkiye, hearing of trials and blessings as they journeyed for almost four months towards Constantinople. For those who wish, we ourselves will also then walk the surrounding neighborhood in silent prayer for the well-being of all. Returning to the Center, we will honor students graduating this year; some may speak of their experience here and their future plans.
